In February the team here at tobook were lucky enough to be welcomed to the beautiful Hunton Park Hotel. The hotel is located in a lovely, quaint village, just a short drive from Watford, and boasts 22 acres of stunning landscaped gardens to enjoy and explore.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
As we drove into the private driveway of the Hotel grounds, we were instantly greeted with a beautiful view of the historic Manor House. This part of the hotel currently contains the meeting and event space, although upcoming plans include a refurbished Reception where all guests will be warmly greeted on their arrival.
Once you have checked in, parked in the ample complimentary car parking provided and opened the door to your newly refurbished bedroom, you’ll find your bags waiting for you.
BEDROOMS
For our stay, we were lucky enough to experience the newly refurbished bedrooms for ourselves. Combining comfort, functionality and modern decoration, the rooms are great for both business and leisure stays. It is safe to say we all had a wonderful night’s sleep.
DINNER
Once we were all settled in, it was time to feast our eyes, and our tummies, as we were presented with a lovely choice of food. We were spoilt with a 3-course dinner which was truly delicious. Even being the fussy eater of the group, I left nothing on my plate.
GARDENS
In the morning we went for a lovely walk around the grounds and were taken aback by the views. We couldn’t quite believe that we were just minutes from the M25!
Within the grounds, there are plans to create a kennels area so that Hunton Park can welcome all dog lovers to enjoy this hidden gem too.
For those of you who enjoy being active and would like to add a little more of a healthy vibe to your stay away, there are also plans for yoga sessions to take place within the grounds with a designated yoga yurt.
Excitingly, for those staying on business, this can also be included in your meeting and event programme!
The tobook team prides itself on offering inspiring venue options for our client consideration. We are personally visiting and experiencing as many hotels and venues in the UK and overseas as possible – that way we can really know that proposals are fulfilling our client brief to best effect.
