WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE ARE SUPPORTING SHINE A LIGHT SUPPORT SERVICES.
Shine a Light Support Service is a relatively new Charity which began in September 2016 and became a Registered Charity in January 2017. Shine a Light was founded to provide much needed support to families in Coventry and Warwickshire who are affected by childhood Cancer.
This fantastic Charity offers a unique range of services to support families with children aged between 0-24 who are affected by childhood cancer. The services are designed to support the whole family from date of diagnosis for as long as they need. Support services to families include weekly open house drop in sessions, home visits and one to one sessions, activity days, parent social evenings and holistic therapy.
Shine a Light was founded by Sam Schoolar, a survivor of childhood cancer.
We’ll be getting involved with lots of activities in the future so please keep a look out.
Our first event is our Ladies Night on Tuesday 4th July 2017 at The Lake at Barston. Please do come along, invite all your friends and be part of this wonderful event which promises to be an evening of fun with fantastic raffle prizes, local business stalls and a few surprises along the way!
